During a Call
This chapter provides information on the functions available on the phone for use while
a call is in progress.
Handsfree Function
Making Calls with the Handsfree Function Activated
1 Press the key.
2 Enter the required phone number using the keys on the keypad.
Switching a Call to Handsfree Mode
1 Press the key when a call is in progress and then replace the receiver back on
the phone base.
Taking Calls with the Handsfree Function Activated
1 Press the key to take the incoming call.
To ensure the caller can hear your voice, remain close to the phone base
while the call is in progress and you are using the Handsfree function.
Ending Calls with the Handsfree Function Activated
1 End the call simply by pressing the key again.
Adjusting the Call Volume
Handsfree Function
You can adjust the volume of the caller during a call when the Handsfree function is
activated.
1 Set the Handsfree volume switch to the position required.
Volume Boost
You can increase the volume of the caller while a call is in progress if the call volume is
too low.
First of all, hold the receiver away from your ear before you increase the
volume. Then move the receiver slowly towards your ear.
1 Press the key once to increase the volume.
2 If you press the key again or end the call, the volume of the receiver is returned
to its previous level.
