5.4.5.5 Setting Up the Automatic Key Lock
Youcandenethatthemobilephonekeylockisautomaticallyac-
tivatedafteraspecicperiodoftime.Thishelpspreventaccessto
your mobile phone by authorised persons and minimises the risk of
activating functions inadvertently.
1 Press the left-hand softkey to open the ┣MENU┫.
2 Navigate to ┣SETTINGS┫ Î ┣SECURITY SETTINGS┫ Î ┣SCREEN AUTO LOCK┫.
3 Select the required time period.
4 Conrmwith┣OK┫. The mobile phone switches the automatic key
lock on after the set period of time has elapsed.
If you want to switch the ┣SCREEN AUTO LOCK┫functiono󰀨,selectthe
┣OFF┫ option instead of a period of time.
Calls can be received and taken on the phone as normal even when
the key lock is activated. Incoming calls and text messages are in-
dicated by the respective ringing tone set and calls can be taken by
pressing the Call key.
