  If your Olympus Digital Camera isn't working, ensure the lens barrier is fully open to turn it on. Check if the batteries are loaded correctly and replace them if they're exhausted. If the batteries are cold, warm them in your pocket. If the camera is in sleep mode, operate it by pressing the shutter button or zoom lever. Wait for the camera to dry if there's condensation inside, and disconnect it from the PC, as it won't operate when connected.

  If the flash on your Olympus Digital Camera isn't firing, check that it's not set to flash-off mode; select a different flash mode. If the subject is brightly lit and you want the flash, set it to fill-in mode. Note that the flash does not fire in sequential shooting or movie mode, so check the DRIVE menu. Also, the flash doesn't work in panorama mode, so cancel panorama mode.
