Note: The batteries and xD-Picture card
compartments are accessed by opening the
respective compartment covers.
Close the lens barrier.
Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the
arrow, and lift open the cover as shown in the illustration.
Insert the batteries into the compartment.
Close the battery compartment cover so that it pushes the
battery in and slide the cover while pressing the mark.
Note: If the battery compartment cover is hard to
close, do not force it. Press on the cover firmly
to close the cover, and then slide it into position.
To remove the batteries, make sure that the monitor and the
lamp at the side of the viewfinder are off.
b. Inserting the xD-Picture Card
The xD-Picture Card is where the camera stores your pictures
and is available in a variety of memory capacities. The pictures
you take with the camera remain on the xD-Picture Card even
when the camera is turned off and/or the batteries are removed.
Open the card cover.
Face the card the correct way and insert it into the card slot.
Insert the xD-Picture Card into the spring-loaded card slot as
shown in the illustration. Push the card fully into the slot. The card
will lock into place when fully inserted.
To remove, push the card all the way in to unlock it, then let it return
slowly.

How to fix an Olympus Digital Camera that won't turn on?
    • R
      Roger GarrettAug 19, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera isn't working, several factors could be the cause. Ensure the lens barrier is fully open to power on the camera. Check if the batteries are correctly loaded or exhausted, and replace them if needed. If cold has affected the batteries, warm them in your pocket. The camera might be in sleep mode, so press the shutter button or zoom lever. Condensation inside the camera can also prevent it from working; wait until it dries. Lastly, the camera won't operate while connected to a PC.

How to troubleshoot blurry pictures with my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom?
    • A
      amanda43Aug 21, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera pictures are out of focus, you might have moved the camera when pressing the shutter button; hold it correctly and press gently. Camera movement is more likely with slower shutter speeds, so use a tripod or hold the camera firmly, especially in dark conditions. A dirty lens can also cause focus issues, so clean it with a blower brush and lens cleaner. Even if the green lamp lights, the focus might be incorrect; focus on an object at the same distance as your subject.

Why does my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom reset to factory settings every time I turn it off?
    • S
      Sara CrossAug 23, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera returns to factory default settings when turned off, 'All Reset' might be set to ON. To resolve this, go to the SETUP tab in the mode menu and set 'All Reset' to OFF.

    Eric LopezAug 26, 2025
Why are my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom pictures too dark?
    • J
      justin87Aug 26, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera pictures are too dark, your finger might be blocking the flash; hold the camera correctly. The subject might be out of the flash's working range, so shoot within that range. The flash could be set to flash off mode, so select another mode. If the subject is small and backlit, set the flash to fill-in mode or use spot metering. The sequential shooting mode might be in use, resulting in darker pictures, so adjust settings in the DRIVE menu. Also, bright subjects like snow can appear darker, so adjust the exposure compensation toward +.

How do I fix the flash on my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom?
    • R
      Rebecca SchultzAug 28, 2025
If the flash on your Olympus Digital Camera isn't firing, check if it's set to flash off mode and select a different mode. If the subject is brightly illuminated, and you want the flash, set it to fill-in mode. Note that the flash doesn't fire in sequential shooting or movie mode; adjust settings in the DRIVE menu. Also, the flash won't fire in panorama mode, so cancel that mode.

Why are my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom photos too bright?
    • E
      Erik DavisAug 30, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera photos are too bright, the flash might be set to fill-in flash mode; select a different mode. Alternatively, the subject might be excessively illuminated, so adjust the exposure compensation toward minus (-) or change the camera position.

    • C
      Corey DavisSep 1, 2025

Why does my Olympus Digital Camera battery die so fast?
    • J
      Justin FloresSep 4, 2025
If the battery life of your Olympus Digital Camera is short, using the camera in a cold area can decrease battery performance. Protect the camera from the cold. Additionally, the correct battery level might not be displayed, and batteries can run out without warning when power consumption increases. Replace with new batteries.

What to do if my Olympus Digital Camera doesn't take a picture when I press the shutter button?
    • J
      Jessica BaxterSep 6, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera isn't taking pictures, make sure the lens barrier is open and the power is on. If the flash is charging, wait for the orange lamp to stop blinking before trying again. If a movie is being written to the card, wait until the orange lamp stops blinking. Also, check if the card is full; if so, erase unwanted pictures or insert a new card. Finally, the memory gauge might be full, so wait until there is room.
  • J
    Jason FreySep 8, 2025
Why is the date wrong on my Olympus CAMEDIA C-350 Zoom Digital Camera photos?
    • B
      Brandy MorrisSep 9, 2025
If the date recorded with your Olympus Digital Camera images is wrong, the date/time may not be set. Set the date/time, as the clock adjustment is not factory-preset. Also, exhausted batteries can cause the date/time setting to be canceled or become inaccurate, so replace them and set the date/time again. If the camera has been left with the batteries removed, the date/time setting will be canceled, so set it again.
