The sequential shooting mode might be in use, resulting in darker pictures, so adjust settings in the DRIVE menu. Also, bright subjects like snow can appear darker, so adjust the exposure compensation toward +.

  If the date recorded with your Olympus Digital Camera images is wrong, the date/time may not be set. Set the date/time, as the clock adjustment is not factory-preset. Also, exhausted batteries can cause the date/time setting to be canceled or become inaccurate, so replace them and set the date/time again. If the camera has been left with the batteries removed, the date/time setting will be canceled, so set it again.
