Select the default option "48 bit RGB Color", to acquire images of the "48-bit true-
color" type. Not every other application program will be able to open such images.
Select the "8 bit Gray Scale" option to acquire images of the "8-bit gray-value" type.
Select the "16 bit Gray Scale" option to acquire images of the "16-bit gray-value"
type. Not every other application program will be able to open such images.
Custom gray scale Select the Custom gray scale check box, to not acquire gray-value images over the
whole visible spectrum. When you have selected the Custom gray scale check box,
three more check boxes, R (red), G (green) and B (blue), will be available to you.
These check boxes stand for the camera's separate color channels. When you delete
one of these check boxes, the corresponding color channel will no longer contribute
to the gray-value image.
Use the possibility to fade out color channels, respectively use only one color
channel, for the acquisition of a gray-value image, to match the camera's spectral
sensitivity with fluorescence acquisitions.
Pseudo Color You can use pseudo color tables to have images displayed in color on your monitor.
