All-frame erase
This function erases all the pictures on the card.

In the menu, select T CARD SETUP, then press .
● The CARD SETUP screen is displayed.

Press to select ALL ERASE, then press the OK button.
● The ALL ERASE screen is displayed.

Press to select YES, then press OK.
● All frames will be erased.
Formatting cards

In the menu, select T CARD SETUP. Press .
● The CARD SETUP screen is displayed.

Press to select FORMAT. Press the OK button.
● The FORMAT screen is displayed.

Press to select YES. Press OK.
● FORMAT is performed.
Note
● All existing data, including protected pictures, are erased when the card is formatted. Make
sure that you save or transfer important data to a PC before formatting a card.
This function lets you format a card. Formatting prepares cards to receive data. Before
using cards to be used for the first time with this camera or cards which have been
formatted on a PC, you must format them with this camera.
