When the main subject is not in the
autofocus frame, use the focus lock.
Otherwise the camera will focus on
the background and the subject will
not be in focus.
Position your subject in the
autofocus frame and press the shutter
release button halfway.
When correct focus has been
achieved, the autofocus indicator
(green) will light up in the viewfinder.
The focus and the exposure will be
locked.
