7.7.1 Steam sterilization
Preparing the telescope for steam sterilization
• Choose one of the following two options to prepare the
telescope for steam sterilization.
Option 1: Attaching the telescope to the protective tube
• Attach the telescope to the protective tube.
• Check that the light-guide connector clicks into the clamping
piece.
Do not use excessive force.
• Seal the product in packaging appropriate for sterilization
according to local guidelines and your hospital’s protocol.
