The
flash fires

a slow shutter

This combines the pre-flashes

red-eye reduction with the flash in
SLOW
(first curtain sync).
The
flash fires
at
a slow shutter
speed immediately before the
SLOW2
shutter is closed (second curtain
sync). This can be used to create
effects such as the taillights
of
a
car
streaming backwards.

Adjusting
the
brightness
(Exposure
compensation)
The standard brightness (correct exposure) set
by the camera based on the shooting mode
(except for
M)
can be adjusted brighter
or
darker
to obtain the desired shot.
