Check, in par ti cu lar:
- that the LIFT and LOWE RING but tons are wor king pro perly
- that the lift re a ches its ma xi mum ele va tion;
- that the re are no un due vi bra tions in the posts or the cross- pi e -
ces;
- that the wed ges fit pro perly into the sa fe ty rod slots;
- that the lift li mit switch ope ra tes pro perly;
- that the lift cab le li mit swit ches are ope ra ting pro perly;
- that the elec tro ma gnets are wor king pro perly.
Per form the abo ve checks and in spec tions du ring two or three
com ple te lift and lowe ring cycles.

3. Checks with load. Re peat all the abo ve checks with a vehic le
on the lift.
•
4. Af ter the checks with vehic le make a vi sual in spec tion of the
lift and check that the nuts and bolts are tight for the se cond
time.
