time and the r tE time are independent and have no effect on each other. To
increase damping effect and reduce o vershoot set the approach r ate time f or a v alue
greater than the natur al r ise time of the process (natur al r ise time = process value
time to set point).

P E A The Peak feature will remember the highest input the Instr ument has had since the
last reset or Pow er On. At Pow er On it is reset to the present input. To man ually reset
the v alue , PEA must be in the lo w er displa y and then press the
ENTERENTER

last reset or Pow er On. At Pow er On it is reset to the present input, and ma y have
to be man ually reset. To m an ually reset the value , V A L m ust be in the lo w er display

In the follo wing the symbol "#" will be used follo wing letters to ref er to either a n umber "1"
or n umber "2". The "1" will relate to SP1 functions , the "2" for SP2. If y our control is not
