Unit placement at an angle less than 60° or horizontal to the ground can affect step counting.
Shuffling, wearing sandals, or inconsistent pace in crowds may lead to inaccurate step counts.
Movement like standing/sitting, sports, or stair climbing can interfere with accurate step counting.
Riding vehicles like bicycles, cars, trains, or buses may not be counted as steps.
Very slow walking may not be registered by the pedometer.
