Assumed cause Correction Prevention
The load mass is too large. Or the
motor speed is too high to absorb
the regenerative energy within the
specified deceleration time.
Check the operation pattern
(velocity monitor). Check the
Regeneration Resistor load rate
and the excessive regeneration
warning, and perform the following
accordingly.
Increase the capacities of the
motor and Servo Drive.
Increase the deceleration time.
Reduce the motor speed.
Use an External Regeneration
Resistor.
Set the Regeneration Resistor
Selection (3016 hex) to 2.
Check the items given for
corrections in advance and
implement countermeasures as
required.
This Regeneration Resistor is
used for continuous regenerative
braking. (The operating limit of the
external resistor is limited to a
10% duty.)
Set the Regeneration Resistor
Selection (3016 hex) to 2.
