Pass-Through
To work on longer pieces, just slide them through under the sides of the
frame. If you elevate the Light to pass thicker materials through the work
area, adjust the focus to match and make sure the Light is completely level
and stable. Never use the engraver on supports that might wobble or slip
during use.
Rotary Axes
To work on round objects, connect a rotary axis (sold separately) to the
Rotary Axis port on the inside of the front frame. The button beside the
port should be UP during rotary use and DOWN to use the Y axis. Elevate the
frame or lower the work surface so that the laser will be at the correct focal
distance from the top of the material being rotated. Position the gantry so
that it is over the center of your object and congure your soware so that
the Y axis information will be used to turn and engrave your object.
