is more than 2 hertz, lessen the internal spring tension.
If there is a drop in the frequency, increase the booster
internal sprite tension. To increase the tension, pull
out on the spring bracket and more the pin to a different
hole.
With the booster disconnected, a maximum drop of
3 hertz from no load to full load is normal. With the
booster in operation, a maximum increase of 2 hertz
from no load to full load is normal. A drop of 1 hertz
at 1/4 load is permissible, giving an overall spread
of 3hertz, maximum.
The effect of the booster is limited by the general
condition of the engine. The booster cannot compen¬
sate for a loss in engine vacuum caused by leaky
valves, worn piston rings, etc.
