4.8 FXS analog interface specifications
There is an earth stud on the back panel of the ONE100D/M. Always connect this to the main protective
earth.
• Connection of up to 4 or up to 8 analog telephone lines thus providing up to 8 analog voice interfaces.
• Connector: RJ45 connector, 1 connector per FXS
• Line impedance: 600
Ω or complex
• Frequency range of the ringing signal: 16Hz to 70 Hz
• Voltage of the ringing signal: > 37,4VRMS for a load of 1 REN (6,93K + 8µF@ 20Hz) in the frequency
range
• Line current: 27 mA maximum for a line resistance <1000
Ω
• Polarity inversion of the TIP and RING pins
• Line current <2mA in the power-down mode
• Q.23 dialing
• Ringer Equivalency Number (REN): 1
• Cable to be used: unshielded cable with one twisted pair
