If your Oneida Air Systems Dust Collector has poor dust pick-up, check for ductwork issues. Ensure the length of duct runs, duct diameters, and hood design align with ductwork design guidance. Seal all ductwork, as even small cracks can cause significant air losses; use silicone, duct tape, or duct mastic compound as a sealant. Check for air leaks between the collector and dust drum. Close any unused blast gates at your woodworking machines. Also, check for restricted pipes, hood ports that are too small, or branch lines that are too small. Make sure your filter is clean.
