Function Description:

The ONIDA Air Conditioner is designed to provide cooling and comfort in indoor environments. It offers various operating modes, including Auto, Cool, Dry, and Fan, to suit different user preferences and environmental conditions. The unit is equipped with a remote control for convenient operation and features such as a timer, sleep mode, and auto-restart. The air conditioner also incorporates energy-saving technologies and aims to deliver efficient performance.

Maintenance Features:

Filter Cleaning: Users can easily lift the front panel, remove the filters, and wash them under a tap. It is recommended not to use detergents for cleaning the filter.
Professional Maintenance: Most maintenance work, especially during and after the warranty period, should be handled by a trained technician.
E-Waste Disposal: The product is considered E-Waste and should be disposed of through the company's collection center to prevent environmental damage, as per Government of India's E-Waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011.

Installation Guidelines:

Indoor Unit Placement: Should be located for optimal cool air circulation, away from obstructions and frequently opened doors. Condensate water must be drained properly, with a "U" bend in the drain tube to prevent insects.
Outdoor Unit Placement: Should be mounted on a strong frame or support, with adequate space for free airflow (at least 2 meters on the outlet side and 0.3 meters on the inlet side). It should not be too far from the indoor unit, with recommended distances provided. If multiple ODUs are installed, they must be properly separated.
Piping and Wiring: Avoid long, complicated routing and too many bends in the connection pipes and wires. Special cables are used for connecting indoor and outdoor units.
Electrical Outlet: A suitable electrical outlet must be provided near the indoor unit.
Vacuum Pump: Used to discharge air from the pipe assembly before adding refrigerant.
Refrigerant Addition: If the connecting pipe is longer than 7 meters, additional refrigerant may be needed.

Warranty and Support:

Warranty Period: 12 months for the air conditioner (excluding front grill, knobs, remote unit, and add-on plastic parts) and 60 months for the compressor from the date of invoice.
