Setting the clock
The following example shows how to set the
clock to “9:38” on Friday.
1. Press the TIMER button repeatedly
until “ADJUST” is displayed, then
press the ENTER button.
2. Press the π or button to set the
current day of the week, then press the
ENTER button.
Enter the current day of the week directly
by pressing the following number buttons
on the remote control.
1: Sunday 2: Monday
3: Tuesday 4: Wednesday
5: Thursday 6: Friday
7: Saturday
3. Enter the current time directly by press-
ing the number buttons on the remote
control, then press the ENTER button.
For example:
To set the clock to “9:38”, press the 10/0,
9, 3, 8 buttons, then the ENTER button.
To set the clock to “11:00”, press the 1, 1,
10/0, 10/0 buttons, then the ENTER but-
ton.
The time can be set by pressing the π and
buttons to change the minutes.
You can set the time accurately from the
TV or radio news.
Note:
To find out the time while a unit of the
equipment is playing, press the CLOCK
CALL button on the remote control. Af-
ter the day and time are displayed for the
first three seconds, the source and time
are displayed. Press the button again to
return to the previous display.
If there is a power failure, the clock must
be set again.

Setting the Time and Day
(for remote control only)
The time display flashes when you plug the power cord into an AC outlet. The time will flash until you set the clock.
The clock is displayed in 24 hours.
