Normal play
1. Place a disc, printed side up, in the
tray.
Press the
button.
• To close the disc tray only, press the
button.
2. Start playing.
Press the ® button.
• The disc tray will be closed automatically
and this unit will play the first track.
• After all tracks have played, this unit
stops.
• The power will turn on and the input
source is switched to “CD” if it was off (in
stand-by mode) when the ® button is
pressed.
Switching the input selector while
playing a CD
When the TAPE/MD button is pressed:
This unit will continue playing the CD.
When the TUNER button is pressed:
This unit will pause playing the CD. The
indicator will flash.
To resume playing, press the ® button.
Stopping playback
Press the button.
Pausing playback
Press the
button on the remote control.
The “ ® ” display turns on.
• To resume playing, press the ® button or
the button on the remote control.
Playing starts again from exactly where it
left off.

Playing CDs
When there is a CD in the tray, pressing the ® button automatically switches the input source to “CD” and starts playing even if another source
is selected.
