4.6.2 Trouble Report Code

Select the report code that will be transmitted to the central station when a trouble condition
is sensed on the 2 wire smoke detector circuit. (see wiring diagram / 3.8.3-Rcvr Routing).
(see SIA-Contact ID-Hex charts on pg 42 & 43).
4.6.3 Restore Report Code
RESTORE CODE

Selections: 01-FF / Contact ID / SIA
Default: No Report
Select the report code that will be transmitted to the central station when a trouble condition
has restored from an alarm or trouble condition on the 2 wire smoke detector circuit.
(see wiring diagram / 3.8.3-Rcvr Routing).
(see SIA-Contact ID-Hex charts on pg 42 & 43).
4.6.4 Smoke Reset Time
SMOKE RES. TIME
15 seconds
Selections: 01-20 seconds
Default: 15 seconds
Select the amount of time in seconds that is required by the manufacturer of the 2 wire
smoke detectors to perform a reset from an alarm condition.
Note: Note: consult the manual for the smoke detectors for the correct value of time for this
memory location.
4.6.5 Alarm Verification
ALARM VERIFY
NO 0=NO 1=YES
Selections: Yes / No
Default: No
Enable this option to allow for the SMDC to drop power to the 2 wire smoke zone for
10 seconds (+ / - ) when an alarm condition is sensed. The SMDC will initiate a fire
alarm condition if the alarm condition is still present or if the circuit has secured and
another alarm condition is sensed within 60 seconds.
4.6.6 Outputs
Select the output(s) that will be active when the 2 wire smoke zone is in alarm condition.
(see 1.2 Cut Off Times)

BELL OUTPUT 1
YES 0=NO 1=YES
Selections: Yes / No
Default: Yes
Enable this option for the SMDC to activate an output from Bell 1 when this circuit
initiates an alarm condition. (see 1.2 Cut Off Times).
4.6.6.2 Bell 1 Pulse
BELL 1 PULSE
YES 0=NO 1=YES
Selections: Yes / No
Default: Yes
Enable this option for the SMDC to activate a pulsed output from Bell 1 when this
circuit initiates an alarm condition. (see 1.2 Cut Off Times).
NoteNote: Bell 1 output must be programmed as YES for this the Pulse Bell option to function.
