4.6. Two Wire Smoke4.6. Two Wire Smoke
This section determines the characteristics of the 2 wire smoke detector The maximum
number of 2 wire smoke detectors connected to this loop may not exceed 10 for UL
installations. Please refer to the SMDC Hookup Diagram for the compatibility listing
of 2 wire smoke detectors.
4.6.1 Alarm Report Code
ALARM RPT CODE

Selections: 01-FF / Contact ID / SIA
Default: No Report
Select the report code that will be transmitted to the central station when an alarm condition
is sensed on the 2 wire smoke detector circuit. (see wiring diagram / 3.8.3-Rcvr Routing /
SIA-Contact ID-Hex charts on pg 42 & 43).
