Safety advice!
Before the start of measurement the drive motor must be
switched off, thus ensuring that neither the drive nor the driven shaft
can start rotating.
All the corresponding safety measures must be complied with!
Application advice!
The datas of belt tension (static belt tension T
S
) from the Optibelt
data bank are approximate values.
We recommend to calculate the detailed belt parameter and to
adjust the drive respectively.

Function overview
The Optibelt TT 3 Frequency
Tension Tester is used for determining
of the initial tensioning of V-belts,
kraftbands, ribbed belts and timing
belts.
The actual frequency is established
by touching the belt and, once
measurement has been taken
successfully it is displayed in Hertz
or Newton. The implemented
data bank enables direct adjustment
with the Optibelt tensioning
recommendations. In addition, users
can also store their own, user-dened
data sets.
A serial RS-232 interface is available
for communication with a PC.
