Connect the coaxial cable from the wall outlet or splitter to the digital cable box's input port.
Connect the cable box to your HDTV via HDMI or component cables, or to SDTV via coaxial cable.
Plug the power cord from the cable box into a wall outlet or surge protector.
Activation begins automatically; follow on-screen prompts and wait for service activation.
Adjust resolution and aspect ratio for HDTV (1080i, 16:9) and SDTV (480p, 4:3).
Insert the Smart Card into the designated slot; do not remove it once inserted.
Connect the coaxial cable from the wall outlet or splitter to the digital cable box's input port.
Connect the cable box to your HDTV via HDMI or component cables, or to SDTV via coaxial cable.
Plug the power cord from the cable box into a wall outlet or surge protector.
Activation begins automatically; wait for 'turn on' or the correct time on the LED screen.
