What to do if my Oreck XL GOLD U4151 does not pick up?

If your Oreck Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt, several issues could be the cause: * The filter bag may be full, in which case you should replace it. * The nozzle or intake pivot might be clogged; clear any obstructions. * The bag tube could be clogged, so clear any obstructions there as well. * The bag pores may be clogged with fine dust, requiring a bag change. * The belt might be broken or stretched, necessitating a replacement. * The revolving brush might not be even at both ends, so check the bearing seal and make sure the words “OLD” or “NEW” are at each end.
