Why Oreck XL U4140HH does not pick up?

Your Oreck Vacuum Cleaner might not be picking up dirt due to several reasons: * The filter bag is full and needs replacement. * There is a clog in the nozzle or intake pivot that needs to be cleared. * The belt is broken or stretched and needs replacement. * The brush is worn and needs replacement. * The bag tube is clogged and requires clearing. * The bag pores are clogged with fine dust, requiring replacement of the filter bag and/or cleaning of the outer bag. * The revolving brush is not even at both ends. Check brush roll end cards to make sure words 'OLD' or 'NEW' match at each end.
