Battery Replacement
• Read the temperature from the display.
> Measurements in object temperature mode are not stored.
• Subject surface temperature and inner temperature can be different.
7. Battery Replacement
• The device requires two AAA Alkaline batteries.
> Open the battery compartment.
> For this purpose, slide down the battery compartment lid on the back.
• Take the used batteries out of the battery compartment.
• Insert new batteries.
> Observe the correct polarity.
• Close battery compartment.
> Used batteries should not be disposed of in normal household waste.
> Dispose of batteries in accordance to local recycle regulations.
Cautions
If you do nd the batteries have leaked uid please do not touch the batteries or
uid.
Dispose of the batteries properly do not wrap in metal or aluminium foil, wrap in
newspaper and dispose of carefully. Batteries may explode if burnt or exposed to
excessive heat.
