3. The vehicle climate control
system operation is more
efficient when the engine runs
at high idle.
Stopping the Engine
1. Bring vehicle to a complete
stop.
2. Place the gear selector in
Neutral and apply parking
brakes.
3. Turn Master Switch to the
ENGINE STOP position.
Starting Engine From
Rear Control Panel
DANGER
Use extreme caution if any work
has to be performed on the
engine while it is running. High
voltage is present at the
generator terminals, traction
motor terminals, and all high
voltage cabling connecting the
generator and traction motor to
the PCS.
CAUTION !
Ensure the gear selector is in
neutral and the parking brake is
applied before starting the
engine from the rear control
panel. Failure to do so can cause
unexpected vehicle motion and
result in personal injury and/or
damage to the vehicle.
