10. Swap back the cables Y1
and Y2.
11. Open the door and remove
the wooden supports from the
chamber.
12. Select the compaction
pressure. If the selector lug is
tted (as it is on delivery), the
compaction pressure is 20
tons (for corrugated cardboard).
If the selector lug is removed,
the compaction pressure is 12
tons (for plastic).
The selector lug (in the relevant
chamber) must be removed if
plastic is to be compacted in
the machine. Using
excess compaction pressure on
plastic could cause damage to
the machine.
13 Fit the apron onto the press
unit.
Note! The apron is essential
for safety reasons.
14. Check the oil level when the
press plate is in its uppermost
position.
15. Fit the hood and strapholder.
Close the front covers.
16. Remove the plug from the
mains.
Use a pallet jack (or similar)
and raise the machine. Fit the
feet, and place the machine
in the desired location.
Please note the installation
dimensions, which must be
taken into account. Make sure
that the machine is level.
Connect the machine to the
mains. Make sure that the
machine’s power cable can
NEVER be run over by the
press unit.
Open the doors – they should
be easy to open. If you have
any di󰀩culty opening the doors
then the machine is not level
and the feet must be adjusted.
Open the doors fully and press
down the pedal behind each
door to test the bale ejection
mechanism.
Turn the main power switch
to “1” (make sure that the
emergency stop is pulled out).
The green light lights up when
the press unit is in the correct
position. Press the green start
button to run a test compaction
cycle.
Test the emergency stop and
ensure that the machine stops
operating when the rear or front
cover is opened.
