Radial fans from Östberg - The Fan Company
Radial fans from AB C.A. Östberg
have high capacity, high pressure, low
sound levels och a very compact de-
sign. This makes them ideal for use in
so many different applications. They
can also be used as duct fans when a
high pressure and a low sound level
are necessary.
The radial fans are manufactured
from galvanized sheet steel. The
impellers are directly driven by an
external rotor motor with built in
thermal protection. The motor is
situated in the airstream to get ulti-
mate cooling. That’s why stepless,
variable speed regulation is possible.
The ball bearing motor is virtually
maintenance free and the only ser-
vice task required is the occasional
cleaning of the impeller.
All radial fans from AB C.A. Öst-
berg are CE marked, moisture resi-
stant and approved for external use.

AND RB
SINGLE INLET
RADIAL FANS
RF, single inlet radial fans are very
compact making them ideal for use
in heat pumps, heat exchanger, dehu-
midifiers, drying equipment etc. They
can of course be used as duct fans.
RF has a forward curved impeller
and is available for single or 3-phase
electrical supplies. RB has a back-
ward curved impeller and is available
for single phase electrical supplies.
Both fans are available with or
without a terminal box or a connec-
tion spigot.
DF
DOUBLE INLET
RADIAL FANS
DF, double inlet radial fan has an
external rotor motor placed in the
middle of the impeller, which makes
for a very compact design. DF fans
are ideal to use in different applica-
tions where high pressure, large air
volumes and low sound levels are
demanded but with only a minimum
amount of space is available, for
example heat exchangers.
DF has a forward curved impeller
and a single phase motor. The exter-
nal rotor motor has in-built overheat
protection as standard.
