What to do if there is a power outage with my Oster Bread Maker?
    • M
      Michelle HollowayAug 19, 2025
If the power goes out while you are using your Oster breadmaker, the display will go blank. If the breadmaker is kneading, you can restart the machine. If the machine is baking, you can finish baking in an oven or start a new loaf. Hold the “Start/Stop” button for 3 seconds. If the display doesn't return, unplug the breadmaker and plug it back in. If it still doesn't start, hold the “Start/Stop” button again for 3 seconds. Repeat unplugging and holding the button until the display returns to the cycle time before the outage.
