ASSEMBLING

Referring to Fig 2:

1. Turntheblendingjugupsidedownandplacethesealovertherimofthejug.

2. Carefullylowerthebladesintotheblendingjug.

3. Screwthelockingringontotheblendingjug.

4. Placetheblendingjugontothemotorunitwiththelug

in front of the stop

5. Usetheblendingjughandletoturnthejugclockwiseasfarasitwillgo.Thiswilltightenthelockingring.Toloosen

thelockingring,placetheblendingjugontothemotorunitwiththelug

behind the stop

andturnthejug

anticlockwise.

USING YOUR BLENDER

1. Placetheblendingjugontothemotorunit.Theblendingjughandlecanbeontheleftortheright.Makesurethatthe

lugsontheblendingjugarerestingaginstthestopsontherimofthemotorunit.

2. Addtheingredientstotheblendingjugandfitthelidandstopper.Fitthestopperbyinsertingitintotheholeinthelid

and then twisting it a quarter turn clockwise.

3. Turn the speed control to position I, II or III as required. For more control over blending, operate the speed control in

short bursts.

Tips

• Ingredients can be added through the hole in the lid by removing the stopper. The stopper is graduated and can be

used as a measure for small quantities.

• Alwayssupporttheblendingjugwithyourhandwhileblending(Fig.3).

• Allowhotliquidstocoolbeforeprocessing.Placeafoldeddishclothoverthetopoftheblendingjugandplaceyour

hand over the cloth during processing (Fig. 3).

• Don’toverfilltheblendingjug.

CARE AND CLEANING

Make sure the unit is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply socket before cleaning. The blades are

very sharp, take care when washing them. Do not immerse the motor unit, mains lead or plug in water or any other

liquid.

Cleaning

• Removethebladeassemblyfromtheblendingjugandwashthejug,bladeassembly,sealandlockingringinwarm,

soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Wash the lid and stopper in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Wipe down the motor base using a damp cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly. Make sure you only use a mild detergent

solution.

Quick cleaning method

1. Half fill the blender with warm water and add a small amount of detergent. Fit the lid and stopper.

2. Set the speed control to II for 10-20 seconds.

3. Removetheblendingjugandrinseitunderrunningwater.
