10. Cleaning and maintenance
Streamer is a sealed product that requires only a minimum of maintenance. Any dirt,
moisture or grease should be cleaned off by using a dry or damp cloth. It is recommended
to clean Streamer on a regular basis.
The microphone opening and the connectors for audio input and charging must be kept
free of dirt or debris. The dedicated cleaning brush following your hearing instruments
can be used to clean these areas. Streamer and the neck strap must never be washed or
immersed into water or other liquids.Make sure not to drop Streamer onto hard surfaces.
Streamer cannot be opened without damaging it. If problems occur which cannot be
solved by following the guidelines in the trouble shooting section, you should consult
your local Hearing Care Professional.
Avoid heat, humidity and chemicals
Your Streamer must never be exposed to extreme heat e.g. left inside a parked car in the
sun. It must never be exposed to a lot of moisture e.g. steam baths, showers or heavy rain.
Nor must it be dried in microwave ovens or other ovens. Streamer must not be exposed to or
cleaned with cleaning chemicals or alcohols.
