What to do if my Outdoor Gourmet SRGG21101 does not flame immediately?
    • M
      Maria HartAug 1, 2025
If your Outdoor Gourmet Grill doesn't flame immediately when you light it, first ensure that the gas is turned on. Then, confirm that there's a spark while you're trying to ignite the burner. Push in the control knob, turn to ignite/preheat, and hold for about 5 seconds before igniting the grill. Also, make sure your burner is clean.

Why does my Outdoor Gourmet SRGG21101 take a long time to preheat?
    • K
      Kylie JonesAug 7, 2025
If your Outdoor Gourmet Grill is taking a long time to preheat, keep in mind that a normal preheat to 500-600 degrees should take about 10-15 minutes. Cold weather and wind may also affect your preheat time. Also, volcanic rock and briquettes should not be used in this BBQ.

Why are the burner flames not light blue on my Outdoor Gourmet SRGG21101 Grill?
    • S
      Stephanie CortezAug 12, 2025
The burner flames on your Outdoor Gourmet Grill might not be light blue because there's too much or not enough air mixing for the flame. Elevation is a principal cause, but cold weather can also affect the mixture. The grill might also be in a windy location.

Why my Outdoor Gourmet Grill only heats to 200-300 degrees?
    • P
      pughkelseyAug 19, 2025
If your Outdoor Gourmet Grill only heats to 200-300 degrees, first, make sure the temperature gauge is working correctly by holding a flame to the probe or comparing it to an oven thermometer placed inside the grill. Ensure the correct start procedure: the gas control knobs and propane bottle should be off prior to lighting the grill. If not, wait 15 minutes. Then, turn the cylinder all the way on, turn the left burner to ignite, wait 5 seconds, and ignite. Repeat for additional burners. Finally, check all gas connections for leaks using a bubble test. If leaks are found, replace the part or tighten the fitting.

Why does the regulator make noise on my Outdoor Gourmet Grill?
    • C
      Charles RobinsonAug 25, 2025
If the regulator on your Outdoor Gourmet Grill is making noise, the vent hose on the regulator may be plugged or the regulator itself may be faulty. Ensure that the vent hole on the regulator is not obstructed. Clear the hole, close the LP cylinder and gas control valves, wait 10 minutes, and then restart. When turning the LP cylinder valve on, do not cover the vent hole on the regulator. Check your flames for proper performance and replace the regulator if the flames are not correct. Purge the lines.
