Adjusting the auxiliary handle
1. Loosen the two allen screws securing auxiliary handle bracket (21), adjustable
auxiliary D-handle (11) and adjustable auxiliary straight handle (10).
2. Move adjustable auxiliary handles up or down to the desired position. Retighten
the two bolts to secure the adjustable handles.
Assembling the shoulder strap
1. Hook the shoulder strap (21) onto the shoulder strap
attachment bracket (14) (Fig. 4).
2. Adjust the shoulder strap (21) to a length that is
suitable to you.
Adjusting the blade angle
WARNING!
DO NOT hold the blade in an attempt to adjust the blade angle.
Doing so may result in possible personal injury.
1. Lie the pole hedge trimmer on the ground, then hold
the upper shaft (8) firmly and turn the blade
adjustment locking knob (3) anti clockwise to unlock
the head locking mechanism (4).
2. Hold the blade angle adjustment handle (7) with the
other hand and depress both the lower locking lever (6)
and the upper locking lever (5) simultaneously (Fig. 7).
3. Rotate the blade to the desired angle. Release both locking levers. Continue to rotate
until both levers 'click' to locate in one of the preset positions.
4. Tighten the blade adjustment locking knob (3) by rotating clockwise.
WARNING! If cordset is cut or damaged remove it immediately from the power
point. This product requires the use of two hands to ensure safe operation. Inspect
the area to be cut before starting. Remove any objects or debris that could be
thrown, jammed or become entangled in the blades.

through the square hole at the back of the rear
handle (18) (Fig. 5).

3.
Connect the extension cord socket to the pole hedge trimmer cord socket.
