Generally you will be responsible for all costs associated with a claim under this

warranty, however, where you have suffered any additional direct loss as a result of

Your Product is guaranteed for a period of 60 months from the original date of

purchase and is intended for DIY (Do It Yourself) use only. If a product is defective it

will be replaced in accordance with the terms of this warranty. Lithium Ion

batteries and chargers are covered by a 36 month

warranty Warranty excludes consumable parts, for example: blower tubes,

collection bag, shoulder strap and included accessories.

Function Description:

The mower is designed for cutting grass and offers multiple functions including rear ejector, mulching, and side ejector capabilities. It features a brushless motor for improved efficiency and longer runtime. The cutting height can be adjusted to suit different lawn conditions, and the mower's driving speed is also adjustable. A safety key is included to prevent unintentional startup. The device is equipped with a battery protection system to prevent overload and overheating.

Battery Compatibility: For best performance, use 3.0Ah batteries and above. Always use two batteries of the same capacity and charge state. The mower has four battery mounts, allowing for the installation of two additional batteries to increase runtime.

Usage Features:

Starting and Stopping: The mower features a dual-action switch to prevent accidental startup. To start, press and hold the lock-off button, then pull the start/stop lever towards the handle. Releasing the start/stop lever stops the mower.
Drive Unit: The drive unit engages when the drive lever is pressed, causing the mower to move. Releasing the lever stops the movement. The drive unit only operates when the motor is switched on.
Speed Setting: The driving speed is adjustable via a speed lever. Pushing the lever forward increases the speed, with maximum speed achieved when the lever is in the fully forward position. It is recommended to adjust the speed based on grass length, with slower speeds for longer grass.
Cutting Height Adjustment: The height adjustment lever allows for 6 different cutting heights from 30mm to 65mm. To adjust, pull the lever outwards, select the desired height, and release the lever to secure it.
Mulching Function: In mulching mode, the grass cuttings are shredded within the mower housing and spread back onto the lawn. To use, remove the grass catcher, slide the mulching plug through the ejector opening, and close the grass catcher flap. This function is most effective on relatively short lawns.
Rear Ejector Function: To use the rear ejector, open the grass catcher flap slightly and lock it in place with the catcher flap locking lever. The mulching adaptor should not be used when the rear ejector is in use.
Side Ejector Function: The mulching adaptor must be fitted to use the side ejector. To engage, lift the side ejector flap, guide the side ejector adaptor onto the mower housing, and then lower both the adaptor and the flap.
Battery Insertion: Open the battery cover and slide two batteries of the same capacity and charge state into the mounts, ensuring they click into place. Close the battery cover. For extended runtime, two additional batteries can be installed.
Battery Removal: Open the battery cover, press the battery release tab, and remove the battery. Close the battery cover.
Lawn Mowing Tips: Start mowing from the edge of the lawn, overlapping each pass by a few centimetres. For long grass, cut with the highest setting first, then adjust to the desired height to avoid overloading the motor. Avoid mowing in poor visibility, rain, or when grass is wet. Always wear appropriate safety gear, including closed footwear, long trousers, eye, and hearing protection. Clear the lawn of debris before mowing. Maintain a safe distance from the mower housing. Mow along inclines, not up and down, and avoid gradients exceeding 15 degrees. Exercise caution when backing up or pulling the mower.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: Always ensure the mower is switched off, batteries are disconnected, and the safety key is removed before cleaning. Remove build-up of grass in the grass chute. Keep all safety devices, air vents, and the motor housing free of dirt and dust. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure. Do not clean the mower with running water.
Blade Maintenance: Always ensure the blade is sharp and in good condition. Replace the blade together with the blade bolt to preserve balance if worn or damaged. The blade should be replaced after 50 hours mowing or every 2 years, or if it is cracked or damaged. To replace the blade, place the blade over the centre hole, align the lugs, and tighten the fastening bolt with a universal wrench to approximately 25 Nm. Always wear gloves when handling the blade due to its sharp edges.
General Checks: Regularly check all nuts, bolts, and screws for tightness. Check the catcher frequently for wear or deterioration. Ensure the safety key is inserted correctly. Only use the replacement blade and blade bolt specified for this product. Be careful during adjustments of the lawn mower to prevent entrapment of the fingers between movable blades and fixed parts of the machine. When not in use, store the mower in a dry, frost-free location, out of reach of children. If the housing of the mower requires cleaning, do not use solvents but a moist cloth and brush. For best results, clean the lawn mower with a brush or rag after each use.
Battery Protection System: The mower is equipped with a battery protection system that automatically cuts off during operation when the tool and/or battery are placed under the following situations:
- When the tool is overloaded.
- When the battery is overheating.
- When the remaining battery capacity becomes low.
- The battery protection system does not in any way damage the tool. The indicated capacity may be lower than the actual level during use or immediately after using the tool.

Warranty:

Ozito Industries offers a 5-year replacement warranty on the tool and a 36-month replacement warranty on batteries from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but excludes consumable parts. The warranty is void if the tool has been operated on a supply voltage other than that specified, shows signs of damage or defects caused by misuse, or has been tampered with.
