Warning:
The face shield and internal goggles will serve to the intended purpose of face and
eye guard only in the use position.
While using the breathing apparatus (SCBA) the face shield and internal goggles
should be in the standby position (stored over the helmet).
Face shields worn over non-designated corrective frames may transmit impacts
which may damage the corrective eyewear thus creating a hazard to the wearer.
Ensure that you are using an EN443 helmet with a face shield marked (+) for
structural reghting.
Any scratched, damaged or dropped face shields and goggles should be replaced.
Materials which may come into contact with the wearer’s skin could cause allergic
reactions to susceptible individuals.
Equipment not marked with ‘T’ should only be used at non-extreme ambient
temperatures.
Service life of visors depends on the conditions of use.
