Starting Up/Shutting Down
Shutting Down (power off your computer)
This procedure is shutting down without using the standby or hibernation function,
(C^ “Standby/Hibemation Functions”)
1 Display the shut down screen
After saving important data and closing each application, select [Shut Down] from the
[Start] menu.

From the keyboard,
You may choose to press down on [ ^ ] , then select the menu with © or

Confirm shut down
Select [OK] after selecting [Shut down].
Select [Yes] after selecting [Shut down the computer?].
Your computer will power off automatically.

For the computer to automatically shut down after [Shut down the computer?] is
selected, Phoenix APM 2.0 for Windows NT® has to be installed. When Q or ^ is
displayed on the task tray, this indicates that the program is installed.
9 Restarting your computer (without shutting down)

Select [OK] after selecting [Restart],
