2. Dirty,dustyand damp areas

Disc Cleaning
Usea drysoftclothto wipethe surface. If the disc
isquitedirtyuse a softcloth slightlydampened in
isopropyl(rubbing) alcohol. Never use solvents
such as benzine, thinner, conventional record
cleaner,or mopper as they may mar the surface
ofthedisc.

Caution for use of a New Discs
A new disc may have roughedges on its inner
and outer perimeter. If a disc with rough edges
is used, proper settingwill not be possible and
the CD player will not play the disc. Therefore,
removethe roughedges in advance by usinga
ball-pointben or pencilas shownon right.To re-
movethe roughedges, pressthe side ofthe pen
orpensilagainstthe innerand outer perimeterof
thedisc.
