Why does my Panasonic DMP-BD70V Blu-ray Player start up so slowly?
    • F
      fquinnAug 15, 2025
If your Panasonic Blu-ray Player is starting up slowly, ensure that 'Quick Start' is set to 'On'. Also, if connected to an “HDAVI Control 4” compatible TV (VIERA) with the “Stand-by power save” setting activated on the TV, the unit may take some time to startup when the TV is in standby mode, even with 'Quick Start' set to 'On'. Startup may also take longer immediately after a power failure or when the AC power cord is connected, and when the unit is connected with an HDMI cable.

How to enable 24p output on my Panasonic DMP-BD70V Blu-ray Player?
    • K
      kgalvanAug 19, 2025
To set “On” in “24p Output” on your Panasonic Blu-ray Player, ensure the unit is connected to the HDMI terminal of a TV that supports 24p. If connected through an amplifier/receiver via HDMI, you might not be able to select 'On'. In this case, connect the unit directly to the TV via HDMI and connect the unit to the amplifier/receiver through any terminal other than HDMI.
