Depending on the content being recorded, the
recording time may become shorter than
indicated.
• Recording time may vary depending on the
bit rate of broadcasting:
- High Definition (HD) quality: estimated bit
rate is 15 Mbps
- Standard Definition (SD) quality: estimated
bit rate is 8 Mbps
• Regarding recording time remaining:
Remaining time is calculated with a bit rate of
15 Mbps. But the bit rate differs depending
on the broadcast, so the displayed remaining
time might be different from the actual
remaining time.

(When continuously recording for long
durations, titles are automatically divided
every 8 hours.)
