Timer recording
The following operations and on-screen displays of the
TV Guide system are current as of May 2010, but are
subject to change.
To cancel a timer recording on the TV Guide screen
Select the programme in the TV Guide, then press the “Red”
button. If on-screen instructions are displayed, follow them.
( “[R]” icon or “[S]” icon in the TV Guide disappears.)

≥ You can enter up to 32 programmes up to a month in advance.
(Each daily, weekly or series programme is counted as one
programme.)
≥ The receipt of the TV Guide system data is only possible via the aerial
input of this unit. The receipt of the TV Guide data via Set Top Box is not
possible.
≥ If the same episode has already been set for series timer recording at a
different time or on another channel (Repeat programmes), “Series
Timer Rec.” will not be selectable.
≥ Timer recording using the TV Guide system will start 3 minutes before
the set time and will also end 5 minutes after the set time. Those
settings can be changed in “Timer Record Start Buffer” and “Timer
Record Stop Buffer”. (> 77)
≥ Titles recorded using “Series Timer Rec.” are bundled and displayed as
a “group” in the DIRECT NAVIGATOR screen (> 35).
≥ The series recording will be cancelled if there has been no episode of
the series for 13 weeks.
¾ To confirm and edit the timer programme (> 30)

≥When timer recording from the external equipment, use
manually programming timer recording. (> 29)
Press [GUIDE].
Select the future programme,
then press the “Red” button.
≥If on-screen instructions are displayed, follow
them.
The timer programme is stored and “[R]” icon
(Single timer recording) or “[S]” icon (Series timer
recording

Timer programme is set for all the episodes of a
series programme.
