Setting the Remote Code
The remote code prevents unauthorized people from accessing your unit
and listening to your messages Choose any 2-digit number (00-99)
The factory preset remote code is “11” If you do not program your own
remote code, you can use “11”
Make sure that the unit is in the standby mode.
Press (REDIAL/PAUSE/FUNCTION)
2 Press (3 or (3 repeatedly until the arrow
points to “Program”
g Press EDIT (F)
4 Press ® or ® repeatedly until the arrow
points to “TAD program”
^ Press EDIT (F)
6 Press (F) or® repeatedly until the arrow
points to “Remote code”
"7 Press EDIT ( F|
8 Enter a remote code using a 2-digit
number (00-99)
9 Press EDIT (F) (Save key)
•A beep sounds
•To return to the standby mode, press (OFF)
To check the remote code
Repeat steps 1 to 7
•The current remote code is displayed on the base unit When finished, press
(OFF)
