If the auto connection feature is on, there may be a delay due to the state of the wireless environment or electrical interference; you can try connecting to the base unit manually. You can also try pairing the cellular phone again or disconnecting and reconnecting the device to the base unit. It is recommended to remove the registration of the phone on both your cellular phone and on the Panasonic DECT phone.

  You may not be able to pair your cellular phone to the base unit depending on its compatibility. Confirm that your cellular phone supports the hands-free profile (HFP) specification. Also, make sure the Bluetooth feature of your cellular phone is turned on. Try turning off and on your cellular phone. Also, confirm that you entered the correct PIN.
