3. Recording Modes
Applicable modes:
This merges a portrait taken with the flash and pictures of the background taken with burst
recording into a single picture in which both the person and background look bright.
1 Slide the flash open lever.
2 Rotate the monitor to enable Self Shot Mode.
3 Touch [ ] to display the setting screen.
4 Touch [ ] to switch to the Self Shot Mode for
[Night Self Shot].
5 Decide on your poses while looking at the monitor.
• The AF area is displayed around the subject’s face by the
Face/Eye Detection function.
6 Press the shutter button halfway to focus and then
press it fully to take the picture.
• Be careful not to look at the light from the flash and the AF
Assist Lamp directly.
• Do not move the camera during burst recording.
