3. Recording Modes
Applicable modes:
This merges a portrait taken with the flash and pictures of the background taken with burst
recording into a single picture in which both the person and background look bright.
1 Slide the flash open lever.
2 Rotate the monitor to enable Self Shot Mode.
3 Touch [ ] to display the setting screen.
4 Touch [ ] to switch to the Self Shot Mode for
[Night Self Shot].
5 Decide on your poses while looking at the monitor.
The AF area is displayed around the subject’s face by the
Face/Eye Detection function.
6 Press the shutter button halfway to focus and then
press it fully to take the picture.
Be careful not to look at the light from the flash and the AF
Assist Lamp directly.
Do not move the camera during burst recording.
