Taking 3D pictures
With the two lenses built into this unit, you can record 3D pictures.
3D pictures are stored in MPO format. In this unit both MPO images and fine JPEG images are
recorded simultaneously.
The following functions are activated automatically.
[Auto] in [Sensitivity]/Auto White Balance/[Quick AF]/[i.Resolution]/[AF Assist Lamp]/
[Stabilizer]
Set the 3D/2D switch to [3D].
Aim the AF area at the point you want to focus on.
Press the shutter button halfway to focus.
A ISO sensitivity
B Aperture value
C Shutter speed
Be careful not to get too close to the subject.
If the distance to the subject is too close, the 3D alert
indication [ ] will appear. The recommended
range for 3D recording may differ depending on the
amount of zoom. (P27)
Make sure that your fingers are not over either of
the lenses.
During 3D recording, the image from the right-hand
lens is not displayed. If a finger etc. is covering a
lens, the 3D alert indication [ ] will appear.
The focus indication D (green) lights when the
subject is focused.
Aperture value and shutter speed is displayed in red
when correct exposure is not achieved. (Exclude
when using a flash)
Press the shutter button fully (push it in
further), and take the picture.
