Taking a Still picture

Select the Recording Mode. (P51)

Press the shutter button halfway to focus.
Aperture value and shutter speed are displayed.
(Flashes in red if the correct exposure is not achieved.)

further), and take the picture.

Subjects and recording conditions which are difficult to focus
Fast-moving subjects, extremely bright subjects or subjects without contrast
When recording subjects through windows or near shiny objects
When it is dark or when jitter occurs
When this unit is too close to the subject or when taking a picture of both distant and near subjects
Taking pictures with touch operations
1 Hold your finger on [ ] and adjust the focus.
2 Release your finger to take a picture.
For details on the Touch function, refer to P121.
Preventing jitter
When you take pictures in the dark, the shutter speed slows down. The jitter alert [ ] may appear.
To prevent the unit from shaking, hold it firmly or use an object that keeps the unit still when taking pictures.
