Function Description:

The Panasonic Air Conditioner is designed to provide efficient and comfortable cooling, air circulation, and dehumidification for indoor spaces. It features a remote control for easy operation and offers various modes to suit user needs. The unit incorporates nanoe™X technology for a fresher and cleaner environment, which automatically activates upon startup and can also be manually controlled. The system includes an auto-restart control that resumes operation with the last settings after a power failure. A timer function allows users to set specific ON or OFF times for the unit, with daily repetition.

Important Technical Specifications:

Refrigerant: R32 (mildly flammable refrigerant). Special precautions are outlined for handling R32, including specific piping and installation tools due to higher working pressure compared to R22 models. The charging port thread diameter for R32 and R410A is 1/2 inch.
Temperature Selection Range: 16.0 °C ~ 30.0 °C (60 °F ~ 86 °F) for COOL and DRY modes (not applicable for FAN mode).
Energy Saving Temperature Setting (COOL mode): Recommended range of 26.0 °C ~ 28.0 °C (79 °F ~ 82 °F).

Remote Control: Uses 2 AAA or R03 batteries. Effective range is within 8 meters from the indoor unit's receiver.
Optional Wired Remote Controllers: Timer Remote Controller (CZ-RTC4), High-spec Wired Remote Controller (CZ-RTC5B), and Wired Remote Controller (CZ-RTC6 series) are available for separate purchase.

Usage Features:

Basic Operation: Start/stop the unit, select operating modes (FAN, COOL, DRY), and adjust the desired temperature using the remote control.
Fan Speed Adjustment: The fan speed can be adjusted as desired via the remote control.
Airflow Direction Adjustment: The unit supports automatic horizontal flap swing and offers 5 options for manual airflow direction. The vertical flap is manually adjustable. The "AUTO" airflow setting helps keep the room ventilated.

Air Filter Removal and Installation:
1. Remove screws on both sides.
2. Push knobs on the intake grille to open it.
3. Remove air filters from the intake grille tabs.
4. Install by reversing the removal procedure.
5. Close and push knobs to secure the intake grille.
6. Firmly tighten screws on both sides.
- Do not remove the string to prevent the intake grille from falling.
Air Filter Maintenance: Recommended to clean air filters every 6 weeks. After cleaning, press the "FILTER RESET" button on the remote control to reset the filter indicator.
Troubleshooting: The manual includes a comprehensive section for identifying and resolving common issues, as well as retrieving error codes if the unit stops and the TIMER indicator blinks.
