9 Press the play button in the compact disc
section for automatic recording.
The ATLS function (See page 40) will operate to adjust the
recording level, and then recording will start.
When edit-recording has finished, the cassette deck automat-
ically creates a non-recorded passage of about four seconds
in length, and then enters the recording standby mode.
When wrong operation is occurred, press the cancel button.
The unit is returned to the previous setting mode.
Notes:
When it is not possible to record all the tracks even by rear-
tanging the track sequence, the “OVER” display will appear.
When the OVER time display is 1 to 15 seconds:
Since a tape is actually a little longer than its indicated length,
it may still be possible to record all tracks.

This function is also available from the remote control. Follow the
procedure described below.
Press the stop button twice in the compact disc
section.
(The “CLEAR” display will appear.)

This function is also available from the remote control. Follow the
procedure described below.
Each time the skip/search button is pressed in the
stop mode, the play sequence can be confirmed
on the display.
